Heart worms are a serious problem and requires a vet's treatment. If your dog has heart worms, he needs to be on antibiotics, then a drug to kill the adult worms and follow up with another drug to kill the microfilaria. He needs to be watched carefully for any adverse effects from the treatment. As the worms die, there is always the possibility of pneumonia developing. Take your dog to the vet.

Sorry to say but NO!! What are you thinking? That is such a serious problem, get your dog to the vet ASAP. By the way, why weren't you doing a heartworm preventative with your dog? Why aren't people educated on proper treatment and care of their animals? Yikes! it's scary out there

heart worms are very serious, you could kill your dog by fooling around with home remedies, whats wrong with a vet? if you can't afford to care for your dog you shouldn't have gotten one

It needs the medicine which is actually like a stonger version of heartworm meds they get monthly. Get the dog to the vet. The sooner it gets treated the better.

there is NONE! there are a form of different worms and until eventually you've the cat considered by a vet and make certain which form of worms it has, you're allowing the cat to doubtlessly infect different animals and folk on your kin.

you really need prescribed medicine for this. It is very treatable, but it is also fatal. Don't mess around with this one, go to a vet.
