Are there any native Americans out there that care to comment on being spiritual?

My husband is part native American.

He hates religious questions. He wishes it would be a personal experience and that no one should be forced to practice a religion.

If by 'native' you mean 100 percent indian,, well I'm only part indian. Just like most Americans. Being spiritual to me means acccepting that all creatures and plants and humans are put here because God wants them here,, an respecting and learning from them.
