Today I went to Walmart to grocery shop and I pulled into a space and got out and there were the cutest little schnauzers in the car next to me. They seems ok- happy and barking so I thought- their owner just ran in for a second! I came out 2 hrs later and those poor little dogs were STILL in the car- but no longer bouncing and happy! No window open- no water- they were just kinda laying on the seat-tongues out and looking up at me like they were saying HELP. Well I have 2 Poms and just before I left home- I told them no they couldnt go it was too hot!!! I marched right back into walmart and had them page the owner by the liscense plate- and kind of car. Here comes this prissy lady and I just totally let lose on her! I cannot believe anyone would leave their dogs in a HOT car no window down for 2 hours! By the way it is 104 today. That means in the car atleast 125 those dogs could have died. I told her I was going to report her to SPCA should i??????

of course you should. i would have done the same thing. i probably would have called the police before i had her paged. people just dont think! its supposed to be between 115 and 120 here today. i have a big dog. he is an outside dog, but even he has a swamp cooler in the garage, his own misting system outside and he gets a fresh ice bucket every day. its rediculous to put an animals life in jeopardy. they dont have a choice, the owners do. i bet she wouldnt treat her child like that!

You should have phoned the spca first and then the police. While you were giving that woman hell her dogs were still in the car suffering.

You should have called while the dogs were still in the car. I don't know that there's much they can do unless they see animal cruelty is taking place at her home, which you probably don't know where that is.

heck yes u shoul!!! i am an animal lover. this has happend to me b4 cause i have reported sooo many ppl!! cause there once was 6 kittens and one of them had already died in the car so the took her to jail for abuse of aniamls so yeah u should! oh and what did the ladie say to you? e-mail me at flowergirl1192@yahoo.com and tell me plz and thank u!!!!!

Absolutely! Please do report her....she will have learned nothing from the lecture you gave her, and is most likely self-reasoning that she did nothing wrong, and you are just a crazy lady.
A warning or citation from the humane society will make an impact.

Good Job, I am proud of you. Yes you should report her. I hate when people neglect animals like that. If more people were like you then we wouldn't have so many people mistreating animals.

where was wallmarts parkinglot security unit? as well as the people who bring carts back in? i would shop somewhere customer friendly. Would it be worth ruining your day seeing dead puppies in someones car? just be glad it wasnt babies.
