Think about this; Eve was the mother of sin, right? So she's the one who screwed it up for all of us. So do you think if God made Adam and Steve and gave them a way to procreate, it would be better for all of us today?

I sometimes wonder if people read the questions before they spew unintelligible thoughts and ignorant musings in the answer blanks. The poster conditionalised the question by providing God created a way for them to procreate. Damn, some Christians just don't read. You wonder if they really know what the Bible says!

My answer:
No. The world would be much worse off. I'm gay, so don't think I'm bashing gays here.

Sure, gay people are typically more tolerant of other races, religions, and individual view points than some. However, the main reason they got to be tolerant is because they suffered through the recipient end of harassment and bigotry.

If gay men didn't have to go through the prejudiced surroundings they do today, they would be not much different from the Country Club members down the street. Stuck up, arrogant men who are constantly trying to prove they have a bigger dick.

We probably would have eradicated ourselves with war far sooner than we will this way. The women help to keep sanity in the world. Except for the religious fanatics, women are much more easy to get along with than men. (So, maybe Eve and Eva would have been good? Who knows.)

Eve did not "screw it up" for everyone all by herself. And if you really read your bible, it plainly states that Adam was right there the entire time the serpent was talking to Eve and he didn't say a bloody thing. (Gen 3:6) If anyone should get the blame it should be Adam, because if men are so superior then why did he just stand around watching instead of speaking up? It was because he also wanted to have knowledge like god but was too afraid to touch the tree. Cluck cluck cluck. He wanted to see if Eve really would drop dead like god said she would (Gen 3:3) . She didn't (oops, looks like god lied) so only then was he brave enough to eat.

Furthermore, either (a) god doesn't know everything or (b) he is a sadistic jerk.

If he does not know all, then he had no idea that they would eat of the fruit. Hummm......an ignorant god.

If he DOES know all, then he led them into temptation by putting them in the same place as the tree, knowing full well they would eat and he would get to watch them burn forever for doing exactly what he knew they would do. Rather like telling a three year old not to touch the shiney pretties and then walking out the room so you can beat them when you catch them doing what you knew they would do. Only a sorry, sadistic parent would do that.
A loving god would protect his children, not punch them in the face and beat them for bleeding. And if it ain't love.........

Your question doesn't make sense, honey. If God made Adam and "Steve" and gave them a way to procreate, then Steve would basically still be a woman but with a different name.

In my own opinion, He should of created Adam, Steve, & Eve!!

3 Reasons:

1)Good cannot exist in this world without a little evil!
2) threesomes are always better!
3) Mankind would of not made it very far without a Women!

WTF is right....so had there been Adam and Steve who woulda been the breeder??? So instead of a mother of sin there woulda been a brother of sin and I dont know how that woulda been better for us all. I don't know a man who would sign up to bear that burden-and disrupt his girlish figure?? lol..... I dont have an issue with homosexuality but I think you need balance-lock to keys- two locks or two keys neither can open or secure anything...they compliment each other. Without man there is no woman, good there is no evil, light there is no dark, hell and without queens theres no really cool parties and great shoe shopping buddies that dont get tired.

I'm sorry to say it, but the very question makes no sense.

If God had made 2 men instead of a man and a woman, there would be no human race. If God made one person capable of bearing children, we're back to Adam and Eve.

No - Homosexuality is not only against God's design, it's contrary to nature.

If you put all homosexuals on their own planet, all lesbians on THEIR own planet, and all heterosexuals on THEIR own planet, only one of the three planets will have people on it after 100 years.

If God made Adam and Steve and one of them was able to carry a baby then would that just make him another Eve?

2006-07-14 07:19:47 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

no, no, no. no! men do stupid things too.
FIRST of all it was Adam's duty to tell Eve not to touch that tree
Gen. 2:15-17
15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
SECOND... he could have stopped her and he didn't
Genenesis 3:1-6
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' "
4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her
husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
THIRD, he could have repented for what THEY had done,(since as the the man he was the head of the household) and he didn't....instead he encouraged his wife to run and HIDE!
Genesis 3:7-12
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?"

10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."

11 And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." <<<
Eve, at least admits she was deceived
Genesis 3:13
13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
so both are responsible...
God KNEW what was up and He created a plan of redemption
Gen. 3:14-15
14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this,
"Cursed are you above all the livestock
and all the wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.

15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring [a] and hers;
he will crush [b] your head ( the FIRST mention of Jesus)
and you will strike his heel."
the answer to your question is STLL NO
