The external lips of female genitalia. There are labia minor, the inner lips, though not necessarily the smaller lips. And the labia majora which are the outer lips - essentially comprising the "crack." Check the link below, though is rather graphic.

By the way, the external female parts are called the Vulva rather than the more popular vagina (which is the the hole only).

labia comes from labium. it is any four folds of tissue of the female external genitalia
