my dog has a material collar as it does not dig into his neck.i think leather ones are too hard.

A leather one is best... they cost more than a fabric one, but last a lot longer. Puppy won't be able to pull it off or chew it up either. They look nicer too.
Also, get your puppy an ID tag that slides onto the collar... this is much safer than the hanging tags. The hanging tags can catch on something & strangle your puppy. They can also get pulled off and lost.

Are you asking about a collar or color of a puppy? If it's a collar. Get an adjustable one that will grow with him.

Depends on the dog. All dogs, trust me, all dogs look good in Red. Or Blue.

That is whatever color you like. Its optional. Darker the hair, more visable on the floor with shedding.
