every time you go some were and a black cat crosses over the road and people think they have to cross it out why is that always a bad thing

I don't I had a black cat and he was awsome very loving and loved to be in the water.
He sadly got sick when he was about 6 months old and the vets couldn't save him and they never did figure out why he got sick.
His name was Blackie and I miss him.

It's an old superstition that's associated with witches (because they wore black and etc.). I myself have black fat cute kitty named Kem (short for Chemicals) that I love to hug and squeeze, and she's not evil (even though she looks like it sometimes, which is funny). She hasn't done me any harm except bite me because I was pestering her. People just act weird sometimes and think black cats and cracks in the sidewalk are bad luck.

I have no idea. I have owned 3 black cats, and my lastest is the best. I don't know what I would do with out him. People just tend to believe in myths.

Its because of an old wives tale-Fullblack cats are orinted with witches!Then modern day people changed it to any black cat-But i have 2!

I have no idea. I have a little black cat and she's sitting on my lap right now. she's one of the sweetest cats I've ever seen. I love her to death. ^-^

I think because black is like......Evil..... but it really isn't like you know if some one is dressed as a black devil on halloween they might not know what he or she is then that person see's black and noticed that person was something evil
