Nothing.
Not to be smart-alec. There really is nothing about it mentioned in the Bible.

The Bible has nothing concrete to say on the subject. Traditionally, it has been the reverse---older men marrying younger women. the reason was that society has always expected a man to become established in his living before taking a wife and having a family in order to ensure their survival. Welfare is a rather recent introduction into society, and in olden times single parent homes were not as common as they are today. Today, the idea of an older woman---and I mean a woman who is substantially older than the man---marrying a younger man is the subject for gossip and ridicule. Women are more active in the business community than ever before, and are able to take the time to establish themselves financially before settling down. Traditional roles are being reversed. this is coming under increasing criticism by church leaders, they seeing this as a major affront to them rolling back the calender to the good old days when men ruled the world and women were their slaves. As a Pastor and a man I think that all this hub-bub over a woman's status in society verses the traditional role of men is a sidetrack that the devil has directed Western society on to in his attempt to derail the church of Jesus Christ. Instead of arguing who has the bigger set of brass balls, all of the men and women in Christiandom should be concentrating on bringing in the lost sheep to the Shepherd Jesus Christ. Christianity is about Jesus and winning sould for Christ, not about our petty prejudices and ridiculous agendas.

nada...
cause if you got married, it was when you were 16 or 17... older women (like 40) were probably already dying or dead... and in deuteronomy it says men shouldn't marry old women because that exact reason... they're about to die.
widows, however, are advised to remarry for themselves (because not remarrying would mean prostitution, essentially) by Paul in the New Testament... other than that, it doesn't address that subject hardly at all, in part because the views of the day about virgins, etc... made the young woman desirable and the old woman was, not so much...
...that's my guess.

I know in Ruth when her husband dies the mother says something like why are you tarrying with me? I have no more sons to bare for you to wife. That implies to me that if she did it would be okay for her a grown woman to marry a much younger man, had Naomi been able to bare. But this isn't what God said, she was a woman herself, but I think it is fine. Haven't read anything saying it isn't. Just be obedient to the laws of society:)

I don't think it says anything about age. Being in love and dedicated to that person is the most important thing. Going in with your eyes wide open and expectation dificulties and being willing to work through them is what matters most. People give up far too easily when trouble comes up. Marriage isn't easy and fun all of the time, but if you truly love that person and they love you, if you work as a team toward the sucess of your relationship, only good things will come of it. Good luck!

Thr bible says nothing about age differences, however some christians might. My husband and I are equally yoked and he is 4 years younger than I am. Just follow your heart and the path God is leading you in and you can't go wrong.

Nothing, unless you would consider it being "unequally yoked together". Most commentators see that as a warning against marrying a non-Christian for the Christian, but I suppose someone could stretch it to include age.

Nothing to my knowledge. Marriage should be entered into by mature, responsible mena nd women in love. I never read anywhere that age was an issue, though I wouldn't allow it for people under 18.

I cant think of anything. I dont think its a moral problem unless its like a much younger man younger than 18 and that would be child molestation. If they are both old enough to concent...get it on..
