You can order a Cappuccino anywhere and they will know what you are talking about. However Frappucino is a work that was coined and "branded" by Starbucks. But if you go to another coffee shop and ask for a Frappucino I think they will know what you are talking about and I don't think they will laugh at you. Because when my costumers come in asking me for a "small blended ice drink" I don't laugh at them and go "dumb *** its a Frappucino." What matters is you came to my coffee shop and gave me your business. Thanks!

I believe you can order a COLD Cappuccino if you wanted, but you can't order a HOT Frappucino. Frappucinos are only COLD if I'm not mistaken. Macchiatos are COLD OR HOT. COFFE is COLD OR HOT, but if you don't say ICED, it will come HOT. You can always check out a menu, online or in the store or ask a Starbucks employee if they seem friendly... MOST of them are. WHen they are not friendly, it's usuallyy cuz they are on the tail end of a double shift. Enjoy your coffee. It sure did cost you alot.

Frappuccino is the name and registered trademark of a cold beverage sold by Starbucks. Made by blending one part prepared mixture to three parts ice as needed. Many variations are now available. It is currently available in three sizes: Tall (12 ounce), Grandé (16 ounce), and Ventí (24 ounce). However, other coffee shops sell equivalent or better drinks.

Frappucino is a branded name that Starbucks uses for their blended drinks. If you go anywhere else and ask for that, you will be laughed at for being a corporate coffee ho....

Frappuccino is a registered trademark of Starbucks. At other places, they may call them "blended ice coffee" or something similar. Some places call 'em granitas. Just ask for a blended flavored iced cappuccino if they don't have it on the menu.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as an iced or cold cappuccino. A cappuccino is espresso with equal parts foamed and steamed milk. No one wants hot milk foam on ice. If it is made without foam then it is a latte. Order coffee blended with ice and they will get the picture.
