34 is definitely NOT an unattractive age. In fact it's a rather attractive age. In that one has had some experiences to realistically enrich one's life. And foolish youth should be in the past. It is also NOT old. But quite young in fact.
Midlife change for a female may be in one's 30's....For a male in one's 40. And it's not classified as the 'blues'. For a woman it's realizing who she is.....For a man, seemingly feeling it's a last grab at youth.
So now get off your butt, and start enjoying your fabulous 30's!!! :)

I think 34 is great...you're not too old to regret doing or not doing stuff and not too young to not know better, you can be that hot individual that younger persons want to get with. I think midlife starts at the tender age of 45+

I think that's just how some of us feel, especially if we are still trying to date or just out of a relationship. I think about it alot myself. I'm surrounded by younger and older people and the ones that I am attracted to who are my age are either married, or dating a younger or older person. We're set in our ways, and worldly wise enough to watch out for the situations that we would have jumped into with both feet when we were younger. Then to top it off, we have to worry about what society values in the looks catagory. They want us to look like we just got out of high school, but unless we want to really pay an arm and a leg for plastic surgery and botox, we just have to accept that we are getting older. But let me tell you, there are a lot of 30 somethings out there that are very attractive, and actually have the experience to make life more interesting that an old codger or an obviously clueless 20 something. Wish I could find one who thought the same of me...LOL.

It's supposed to be 40- but nowadays with people living longer "40 is the new 30"

Have FUN no matter what age you are- age is just a number.
