I am 25 and enjoy getting older. I can't wait to turn 26! I know what you mean though. What is the big deal with turning 30? and God forbid you are not at least married by that time. I think it is just something society has placed on women. Kill yourself now! Your 30 and not married!??? There is no more hope for you. It is such bullsh*it! I think women will continue to dread 30 until they realize they are NOT defined by a husband or babies. There are so many opportunities for us a women now, we should just live our lives to the fullest no matter what age we are! Married or unmarried...who cares!!

I am not 30 yet but well on my way at 28 to me 30 is just another birthday. At times I will stop and think OMG I remeber when I thought 30 was old now its knocking at my door but I don't get depressed about it. I wouldn't go back for NOTHING! Don't get me wrong I had a blast the last 28 years but why relive all of the bad that came with the good no thank you. I look forward to whats to come not what I didn't do while I could.

I got really scared right before but afterwards I felt so damned good. No more confusion about who I am, what I want and what I will or will not tolerate. I'm 31 now and having the best time of my life. Now 40, I am dreading, kinda sorta. My kids will be grown by that time and I will be allowed to have a second life, childless. I might be too old to go clubbing by that time but not too old to hit a bar or two and have a high old time with my man, my best friends and me.

you do not sense any diverse at 30 as against 29.. yet my 30's have shown to be extremely interesting so a procedures. i think like this decade typically is the most acceptable yet. i'm truthfully extra financially guard, emotionally guard, a good purchase wiser than i replaced into in my 20's, and that i have a occupation which will take me by ability of life till retirement. All in all, i'd ought to assert that i'm searching ahead to some thing of my 30's.

Well, I'm 2 years to 30, but I can't say it bothers me a whole lot. My husband is already 35 so that might have something to do with it, but I think age 40 would bother me much more than 30. I've heard that you are in your prime of life in your 30's.

I am 27 and i sort of dread being 30. but thisi days people wait longer to get married or have kids. Is ok to be single! I think man mature much much later in life, so getting amrried in your 20s can be a mistake. look how many divorces there are!
Tell her to embrace her age. and just do something fun for herself, or get involved in new things. is not the end of the world... there's people w/ way worst problems than hers! take the positive and enjoy it!

I just turned 30 in January and I hated turning 30, but now I'm not bothered by it. I spent my Bday with my best friend of 20+ years. She turned 30 just two weeks before me! We had one big party in between!

I only turn 29 this year, but I am already in crisis over it. Get a group of people younger and older, and do something fun together...that way she can be reminded that it doesnt matter your age, you can still go out and have a good time.
