I'm training in MMA and last night during submission grappling, I took several knee shots to the head and the back of the head. I wasn't wearing protective head gear. Today, I'm a little woozy but I just want to come back for more. My juices were flowing and loved the action. I can't seem to get enough. Is this weird? Who else loves this stuff ... maybe a little too much like me? Kaia!!!!

No it's all good man. In my jiu jitsu class. when i get a really painful armbar because the blackbelts snapped it so fast my head spins.. i just kinda giggle like a dork while i tap. And in my Mauy thai class.. whenever i'm grounded by one of the instructors leg kicks.. or get my bell rung with a nice cross to the chin.. i hit my *** and just jump up craving more action.

I think the reason is because you know how powerful what just hpapened to you was and hwo dangerous to a normal person it would be, but because of your training you aren't just not hurt, your an adrenaline pumping loonatic with a crazy smile on your face and it's exciting to feel that invulnerable feeling even when you get the **** kicked out of you. I love it myself. It's an awesome feeling.. don't feel bad.. it's not sadistic.

Well i am not quite certain what it is for you, it might be better for different people, or maybe not even better, just different. I love it because i know that if i am getting hurt, i am tough enough to take it, the pain powers me, and i also know that if i am being hurt then i can still get better and i have something to drive me forward to train harder and become a greater martial artist. Now pain for pleasure in bed i can't explain, but i like that too, but for different reasons i think.

i used to enjoy me and my friend wrestling and stabbing each other with pens and slapping the wounds etc etc. now its normal to enjoy pain . just make sure u dont go getting in a fight where once the pain is too much and they wont stop... its a natural thing... just dont go messing up and getting hurt.
