I asked a question before about how to update my graphics card, and I got this as an answer :
doubt it needs it, but if you have the disk, pop that baby in... or you can go....
Start => Right Click My Computer => Properties => Hardware => Device Manager => Find your graphics card, right click, and there's an option to update driver.
Now the problem is I got to the Hardware part and I don't know which one out of the list I got is my graphics card. and don't try and act smart with me those who dont know what their talking about and say its labeled graphics card- because its not.

usually it's the one your monitor is plugged into.
otherwise just follow the cables on your other peripherals that lead up to cards. Rule those out. Use the process of elimination...

You could also try searching for the company's logo or name on the card. What kind of graphics card do you have? ATI? Then look for that name on the card...

Go to Device Manager and click the "+" sign next to Display Adapters, it will be listed there. And clicking the update driver button won't work. You'll have to download the drivers from the manufacturer (either ATi or nVidia) and if you have a GMA950, then it doesn't matter just because it's a horrible graphics solution to begin with, better drivers won't help it.

Go to- www.belarcadviser.com and dowload/install the program. Once you do that,it will show you what card/cards are in your computer. The program is free and it has no viruses.
