He was right and was opening the minds of his pupils. 'Experts' are people who are up-to-date with the latest knowledge, which is not always true. Gorillas were believed by the experts to have been extinct for millions of years until they were discovered alive and well in the 1880's and the Caelocant (not the correct spelling) a fish that was also 'extinct' for millions of years until found swimming happily in South African waters in the 1900's. So, if you want the latest information on any subject, read what the experts say, but keep an open mind, there may be some undiscovered facts yet to be discovered.........

Its seems to have a nested meaning or paradox. If the person is teaching a philosophy that knowledge and its impartation are essentially unreliable, then the fact that he is trying to teach this knowledge is also unreliable. So in essence he is trying to teach them that he is not teaching them anything.
