According to this chart: http://www.kayentahealth.com/idealweight.htm
your correct weight is 130-143
And this one allows you to enter your personal details: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
It gives you several results to choose from, bu the first says your ideal weight is 126 lbs.
Sounds like you are right on track to me. I would suggest that fats help to keep the body lubricated (they grease the works, so to speak) and water makes us comfortable too. If you get lots of good olive oil (I even use it as a moisturizer) and lots of water you should be in fine, comfortable shape for a long time to come!
My guess is they tell you that you are too skinny because they are not as skinny as they would like - and they can believe that it is their age that makes this so, but then they look at you and see you are not in the same boat. Either you must gain or they must lose and they have tried everything to lose - so you must gain. I would just take it as a compliment!
Peace!

I don't think you are too skinny. Actually that sounds about right. I know how you feel though I am 5'1" and I wiegh 103 lbs and all I hear from my family is you are too skinny you need to eat more. I say eat when you are hungry and try your best to eat healthy.

If nothing tastes good, you should go to your doctor and get it checked out.
Other than that, 5'5" 127 lbs. is a perfect weight.

I used to have a girlfriend who was 5'9" and weighed at most 120, usually it was closer to 110 and her lowest weight was 95. She was healthy and looked good. Some people just have different body builds. It would make sense to take a daily multi vitamin though.

well you can't tell if someone's skinny just by the numbers. if you feel good, have energy, eat all the right foods, exercise weekly..then you're fine. it sounds, though, if nothing tastes good, that you have something else going on. maybe something has happened to you to make you depressed and loose your appetite. make sure you're eating at least 2,000 calories a day.

I found a height/weight chart and according to this site you seem just right. Sometimes family members can be very critical especially if they are concerned about you.
Here's that site http://www.bcbstx.com/producersguide/healthguide/chartadult.htm

That weight sounds about right for your height. If you were 5'10 or more, you'd be too skinny....
