it's hard to say. When I was a teenager I slept a whole lot. I used to sleep sometimes even 10 hours. Now that I am in my 20s, I sleep maybe 6-7 hours per night. If you have a lazy teenager around, it's more common than you think, Just be patient.

9-10 hours. Teenagers need slightly more sleep than adults (who need 8 hours) since they are still growing.

No less than 7 hours is healthy.
