The way my first love let me know was a card 'from a secret admirer', then I had to figure it out but she didn't make that too difficult. Then I was a fool and broke it off with her for no good reason....I was all screwed up in the head over drinking and drugs and Family Vs. friends and I was becoming suicidal and tried to run away a few times. awhew....Where'd all that come from? anyway to make a long story longer, I chose too join the Marines for 4 years and that was pretty much that. She got over me (lucky for her) and married someone else and had 2 boys, same as I did. So,on one hand, I have the regret of losing her but had things not happened as they did, I would not have the 2 wonderful sons I have now. My ex and I had the most peaceful divorce on record and the cheapest also, since my sister is an attorney. Boy, she (my ex, not my sister ) didn't have any trouble letting me know she wanted me either. She was my best friends older sister and had known me for years and was getting divorced when I got out of the Corps and we were at a party at her brothers and sitting next to each other after I sat there like a dumb-***, still afraid to talk to women.... she finally said "hey, do you want to f*#@ me or not?" In fact, she repeated those same words recently and it was a nice little afternoon delight. The first time with her was Sept something, 1978 and the last was 7-9-06. Talk about 'love you long time'.
