I do not know if I explained it well, but it usually always happens to me but not lately.

I like this feeling because if you take it calmly it means you are going to sleep in seconds. I used to have it all the time when I smoked and drank coffee but now I don't. I miss it.

I do the same thing! It's like just as you are drifting off your body just all at one time jumps and it wakes me up. My husband notices when I do it and always makes fun of me! I think it has something to do with starting to relax and then having one last bolt of energy. That is not at all a scientific definition but it makes sense for me b/c I'm a pretty anxious person and have trouble falling asleep anyway. Not to worry...you are not the only one! :)

YES!! all of a sudden, I'll fall back violently into my bed because I had a dream where I fell off of something. that's happenend to me less than 10 times, but it's still really weird. and my heart is always beating really fast.

all the time its just when ure fallin asleep and then ure body jumps, my mother always told me its my nerves settling but i have no idea what it really is. try lookin online im curious myself what makes me do that!

this always happens to me...but i got no clue how! u cud lok up astral projection i read somewhere tht there cud be a subtle connection

yeah it happens to me sometimes. feels like i'm falling off the bed, my muscles jerk, but i'm still laying where i was. it's weird.
