In case you have not noticed - we are fighting a war. And since you apparently have not figured this out: In war our people die.

The moment you make the lives of our soldiers too valuable to place at risk - you have just made those soldiers useless.

Another thing you need to do is learn basic math and then calculate how many times a soldier will have to be sent to Iraq before he has even a 50% chance of being killed (hint statistically - even if a soldier did back to back tours for his entire career, he would be forced to retire due to age long before he hits the '50%' probability.)

HE sends them back b/c these brave men and women signed up to do this job. My husband has been to Iraq twice and would do it again if he was called upon to do so. And as a military family, I knew what we were getting into when he enlisted. My husband could easily fall down the stair at home and get hurt. This is a risk we are all will to take. This is his job and he does it to the best of his abilities. I support him on this.

As for my children they miss their father when he is gone, but know that this is his job. We cherish the times we do have together. This is our life BY CHOICE. Bush did not make my husband sign up. He chose to so people like you could sit on you *** and *****. If not for our brave soldiers you wouldn't have that right. So unless you plan to enlist to do for your country shut up and enjoy the rights you have.

Sending troops to war is not an easy decision to make for a leader, but that's his job. Your dad voluntarily signed-up. He was not forced to join the military. It is his duty to obey the orders of his superiors. Don't embarrass your dad...he is serving us proudly. Do you know that you could be arrested for threatening the life of the President? The Secret Service could already be at your front door.

I think I posted something before on this...

Did you know that every year in America - thousands of thousands of people die from car crashes?

Did you know that our troops are safer in Iraq then in our gang areas of the USA?

I think you should try spending time with a terrorist group, and see if they let you live. How would you like it if you had to LIVE in Iraq?

Those people need help... and we are doing right by them.

Your death threat to the President may not go unnoticed by NSA scanning devices. I would be very careful what you post on these boards. Do not be surprized if you get a knock on the door from the Secret Service.

As a Vietnam veteran, I emphasize with you, but your dad will be ok.

It must be scary that your dad is in Iraq. He is doing his duty? Your dad must be a very courageous and brave man. You should be very proud of your dad for fighting for freedom and helping the Iraqi's.

I think you do not know you history. Here is just one inconvienent fact for you......at the current rate of death of US troops, which BTW is the lowest engagement per 100,000 soldiers, it will take 18 years for our deaths to equal the quantity of soldiers that died in the TRAINING EXERCISES of DDay.
