Some people are gay and some people are not. It's nothing you did or didn't do. It isn't how you were raised. It's just part of your nature.
If you are gay, the best thing you can do is learn to accept it and feel good about yourself because it's just part of who you are.
Try to be a good person and live your life fully and well. Try to find someone to love and who loves you. That is all that really matters.

Be comfortable in your orientation.
That doesn't mean you have to shout it from the rooftops or tell complete strangers. However, when you are ready, share this with people who are close to you so that you don't have to lie or pretend.
