In mice, the mother licks her male children's genitals to stimulate testosterone release and much reduce the incidence of homosexuality (compared to male mice who have not had their mothers do this).

I think that in this case, the cure might be worse than the original biological condition, but do with this information as you will.

They probably can. Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE.

Up until a few years ago, homosexuality was considered a mental disorder in the DSM. It was taken out, but curiously, it wasn't taken out using the same rigorous standards that other conditions have been removed in the past. They just took it out quickly, probably due to political correctness.

(In the interest of full disclosure, I am a gay man.)

Homosexuality is not a disease. Some homosexual couples do wonder how it would feel to have sex with the opposite sex at times, thus they become bi-sexual. If homosexuality is a disease, then most likely heterosexuality is a disease too, a pretty big one if you ask me.

when you say, 'cured' it implies that it is a disease to be be 'cured' from. i don't think science would yet support that conclusion.

if you look at homosexuality as a behavior, then, yes it is a behavior that can be changed. i have friends who underwent counseling and intervention. they changed from their harmful, sexual lifestyle.

Being gay is not a disease.

People who are homosexual do not choose to like the sex that they do, any more than straight people make a conscious choice to like the opposite sex.

It's like soda... you don't choose to like specific ones, you either like Dr. Pepper or you don't.
