I have two sweet ladies:
1. Tricksey-nicknames "Tricky Dog" and "BeenieWeenie"- she's a chihuahua daschund mix. She has the long floppy ears and long body of a daschund and the delicate structure and feet of a chihuahua. Rust colored with big eyes and an expressive face, she is like our third child. She's eight years old, but has the energy of a puppy.
2. Daisy-nicknames "Daisy May" "Daisy Duke" and "Lazy Daisy" She's an eight year old full blood Basset hound that we got about two weeks ago from a friend of my husband. We're still learning about each other, but I have already learned that she is a very smart, loyal dog who watches out for Tricksey. Anything that she sees as a threat to her "little sister", she'll nose Tricksey out of the way, or stand in front of her.
