I can but obviously not many others can. Who ever said there was only one truth? How do we know?

The answer: Yes and no. Some people can do that, the whole "agree to disagree" and "live and let live" thing, and some people just can't either cause of their own insecurities or what has been drilled into their heads growing up or by their religious leaders. Sadly, there isn't a lot you can do about it.

Our personal spirituality is the personal relationship with God. As a christian; I am required to love everyone unconditionally. Not to accept unconditionally. I wish people would learn the difference. Jesus told us to love each other as we love ourselves. Our differences are what make us who we are and our world what it is, the problem is that the world treats people that are different from others in a way that makes them feel like outcasts. I love the fact that Jesus ate with tax collectors, associated with lepers, reached out to the gentiles and the unclean, worked on the sabbath, treated women and children as equals, and took the time to be patient with those that were acting stupid in His fathers' name. One of the biggest problems in the world is the misunderstanding of our tolerance in how people behave. We love everyone and will keep loving them. But, I am seeing the world trying to force these religions to change to fit their way of life. It works the other way. The best example I can give is of a gay person attending church. They are welcome to worship and participate. But their lifestyle would have to change in order to become a member of that church. Even Jesus told the woman accused of adultery to go and sin no more. He may have stood up for her and loved her in spite of her sin, but He also reminded her that she should not behave that way. Respect is earned, tolerance is learned. Our behaviour and example in our everyday lives are a good start. One person at a time.

You cannot accept something you don't agree with. You can tolerate it in order to get along.

It will not help further anyones spirituality.

No, religion is the search for truth and there is only one truth. To accept others so openly would be avoiding an elephant in the room for too long.

Nope.
Too many of our "difference" cross lines into each other's lives.
If it is my belief that being a lesbian is okay but my daughter dates your daughter and you DONT think its okay, now we have a problem.

Intolerance for difference is the basis for most religion.
