Julia, did you really not notice that the question was 'singling out' the person who posted it! Really! Do so few people check these things?
I thought it was an excellent question - and a great follow up to bettie's and my questions too - but then again, I'm one of the few who answered it and one of the few answering this time.
Half of the people here couldn't define 'accountable' anyway. It's just a word they heard their preacher say and it had a whole bunch of syllables so they were impressed...

As a Christian, I can say with all certainty that I don't care about your question. Maybe mass apathy is the reason none of us wish to answer your question.
Also, wouldn't it really be up to the person who called you an atheist to answer it?
Geeze-you heathens sure are touchy!

Perhaps because that question was singling out one individual person on this board, and we didn't want to get sucked into making statements about him and then later on accused of being judgmental of him.
Perhaps we wanted to be charitable to the man, and the best way to do that was just to refrain from posting messages about him.

I went to the question located at the link, but that question tended to be directed toward a particular person and his depicted "atheism." I will be happy to answer any question you may have. If, after you read this, you have another question---post it for Christians to answer. We always welcome the opportunity to Glorify God!
Romans 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," [a] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Wow, you are a little vague. I don't see the point to the link's question - there is no question to avoid? Sure you have the right link? Let me know.
