Gosh, I love people who think they know why atheists are atheists, especially when that conclusion is, "They really do believe, they're just in denial." Obviously, this person has either never met an atheist or is an idiot. Or both.
Atheists do not question reality, they question the myth that is all religions and the concept of god. If anything, christianity questions reality by insisting that their imaginary friends are real with no proof or evidence to back it up.
And if they were to "question reality," that doesn't define them as bigots. The only reason most atheists care who believes in fictitious gods are that these people inject their religion and morals into the lives of others simply because they believe it to be the absolute truth. If you don't believe in abortion, for example, because you're a christian, fine. Don't get one. But you have no right to try and push your morals on me. If you think stem-cell research is "playing god," fine. Don't do it. But don't try and stop science. I know that's a fun past-time of christianity, impeding science, but it's ridiculous and it affects everyone in a negative way. Another thing that affects me personally and irritates me to an immense level is that christians are actually trying to get universities to teach creationism as a theory in science classes! Please, that does not even come close to deserving time in a science classroom. The only evidence of it is a copy of a copy of a copy of a two thousand year old, scientifically unreliable document. Every ancient civilization had a creation theory, should we teach them all in the science classroom? I think not. If this sort of thing didn't happen, atheists wouldn't care (for the most part) who believed what. The reason we may come off as bigots to you is because your (and nearly every major religion, but especially christianity and islam) religion preaches bigotry. You are told, by your holy books and often houses of worship, that non-believers are not to be trusted and befriended. Yeah, that's pretty offensive. So is the forcing your religion and morals into my life. So if I'm a little angry, so be it. Maybe that's what it will take for you people to back off and allow our world to live in rationality and free thought.

they are genuinely not all bigots in the united kingdom. both genuinely a number of them are. Bigotry is frequently in direct percentage to the point of perception and keenness. The extra fervent the Christian the extra they have a tendency to bigotry. The media over the following provides the effect the U. S. has more advantageous than its justifiable percentage of religious zealots. notwithstanding it really is a huge u . s . a . so that's likely were given extra of all varieties. Atheists are compared to religious people. we've not some thing in uncomplicated except a disbelief in gods. so that you won't be able to extremely generalise about their perspectives. So it is only a own opinion, as is the different posting from an atheist.

Atheists don't believe in bigotry or reality or anything else. All they do is sit around and think up things that they think are contradictions in God's word.
If they don't believe in God or the Bible why would they do this. It is because they do believe that they constantly bash believers.

Atheists are all sorts of different types of people, the only thing they have in common is that they do not share a belief in God or Gods with God-believers (theists).

The word you're looking for is "realist" since we reject the utterly childish and inane notion that some magic sky-pixie made everything.
Remember that word "realist".
