I already tried going to add/remove programs and removing it..but it starts to hang whenever i do tht...i also tried to delete the folder in the c drive..but it can't be deleted..how do i uninstall it?

start--run--regedit...
search for bittorrent-----remove every entry from it.
delete the physical folder and reboot.....
still if you face issue then give me live meeting :)

have you checked to the processes in task manager, if the exe file is running there. the system will no tbe able to delete the software, the message will come up as the software is being used by someone or something like this.
To check the precesses
right-click on task bar and choose task manager click on processes tab and go through all the exe files if you see the bit torrent.exe right click and stop the process and then try to delete the software, you should have no problems

It sounds like you have the program running already. Check your taskbar. Close the program down, and then trying to uninstall.
