Your query is interesting....we all know that under the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution that we all have the right to practice our own religion.
The great thing about this is that we also have freedom of speech under the same amendment.
Look at our history...this was and still is a country of religious tolerance and we as Americans NEED to remember this was one of the founding cornerstones of our country. I may not believe as you do, but I should respect your ability to do so. The unfortunate part of today's society is that many folks have forgotten this basic tenement of getting along with your neighbors.
Stay close to the values, religion, and your beliefs...they are what makes you unique....

Whether or not a human being worships or doesn't worship is an issue that doesn't begin--nor is contained--within the US borders. The issue is much more personal, and is centrally based on whether a person will worship and obey the Lord God Almighty--OR not. And the extraneous false gods of other countries are, thankfully, still largely disregarded.

It is freedom of religion, not from it. I find it interesting that people think this country was founded for atheists. It was founded for religion on Christian principles. Now I don't think atheism should be illegal or anything weird like that. I just think it's funny atheists refuse to admit that they're deviant from the founding fathers.

The president preserving "so help me God" isn't an imposition of any perception equipment on someone interior the U. S.. no one has to trust him that he desires God's help and there isn't any penalty for all and distinctive to agree or disagree - that is in basic terms words. That has not something to do with freedom of religion or freedom from faith. The president is authorized to have their own own faith too, by skill of ways. you favor to grant a source on your stupid tale about instructors throwing "holy water" on atheists. which could be unprecedented and punctiliously unacceptable. there is not one college district interior the U. S. the position evolution isn't taught. that would not advise that all of us interior the U. S. believes in evolution unforunately, yet it really is not because they're taught something diverse in college. each and anytime that a school board or non secular team has tried to get rid of evolution from college, they have failed. era. Biology instructors are not observed as "devil incarnate" by skill of all and distinctive sane, and think ofyou've got of route by no skill even visited the U. S..

lol..it doesn't really matter,
but what we hear from the media usually constitude less than 1% of the majority,
remember that they are news and they need to "sell" that news for ratings...
anyhow, like anything, what we usually hear are about extremist, or killings and what not...and we also need to observe who controls the media...
personally i'm catholic, but i know a lot of jewish, muslim, indian, or what ever the race or religion that get along pretty well...

Everyone has the right to believe what they wish, as given to us by the First Amendment. However, you do not have the right to PRACTICE whatever you believe. An example of this is that the Mormans believe in polygamy, and they can believe it as much as they want, but they are unable to practice it in the US.

We are free.
But we get our noses a little out of joint when people start butchering their neighbors over their "god".
I wouldnt count on that going away.
