What I mean is that if you are religious then you would be these things because Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and Hinduism teach people to be kind and good. So if we are religious we are supposed to follow the morays of the religion.

The comment on my choice of the word "make" equates to a person behaving according to the scriptures at hand whatever religion that may be.

Human arrogance and greed can account for the majority of wars, including religious ones. Indeed, the intent of most religions is to encourage good behavior, respect for the communtiy and assisting those in need. However, human nature often gets in the way.

War is a result of people not being able to agree over what/who/how to believe. Bottom line as long as we can't come to a consensus there will be war. FYI wars aren't always about God (if there is one)...WWII was not a war of religious belief and neither was WWI...Those were both a result of the secular governments failures.

People use God as an excuse to fight. People use God as an excuse to kill. People use God--as an excuse to over-eat, have illicit sex, gossip and every-stinking-thing-else. The real reason people have wars is over land, over women, over food and resources, and it is in high opposition and obedience to the real principles of God. Not that most people know what those principles are. Can anybody say "Eeeeevilllll." Ha. Adieu.
