There is a difference between The United States today and Napoleons' France, Hitlers' Germany, Japan, and the Roman empire. The United States is not out to take over any country in the hopes of establishing their sovereign rule over that country. I do agree that legislators cater to big corporations' needs more than the needs of the citizens, but this is a capitalistic society, get used to it or move to socialist France. Our economic system will never change. As far as religion goes, yes, there are a lot of fanatic from all religious sects lobbying Congress. If you feel that your personal Representative is pandering to these fanatics too much, then work against them. Start letting the registered voters in your district know what is going on between the fanatics and the Congressperson. You can't change anything by just talking about it on Yahoo! Answers.
