isn't that a slight contradiction

1. There is no heaven
2. There is no hell
3. There is no god

Your Q just shows the contradiction in religion. If I'm a good person and I go to hell because I don't believe in god, and someone like George Bush goes to heaven even tho' he's responsible for countless deaths, why should I subscribe to this god anyway?

So many people don't understand this topic, but with a little bit of study, the Bible is actually clear.

When Jesus comes, He will take all of the good people with Him to heaven where they will live for 1000 years (the millenium). The bad people will be slain and nobody will be here on earth during this time except Satan and his demons. At the end of the 1000 years, the New Jerusalem will come down from heaven to this earth. All of the bad guys will be resurrected, and then God will destroy them AND Satan and his minions with a fire that will consume them TOTALLY like dry stubble. This is in the Bible. The eternal fire actually means until its end. Read Jude. It says that Sodom and Ghommorha (sp?) were burnt with an eternally burning fire. Is S&G still burning? No. They only burned until they burned completely up. The heat will be so hot that even the elements will melt. Then we will get to see God recreate the earth, the New Jerusalem will be set down on earth, and we will live forever here on the "New Earth." If you don't believe me, then read Revelation. And if you really want to understand what's going to happen, go to the following website and take their free Bible Prophecy studies. They are FASCINATING!

There is no fiery burning hell; that's a manmade idea, not Almighty God's. : “The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4, 20)

God created man from the earth to live on the earth. God did not create humans to live in heaven, but he does have a marvelous family of obedient sons in the heavens. These are not creatures of blood and flesh, for they were created before our earth was created upon which we creatures of blood and flesh now live. So those heavenly “sons of God” are spirit, as God himself is, and they are absolutely distinct in nature from us earthly human creatures.

But now we all grow old and die because of the rebellion of Adam and Eve. However, God’s original purpose for the earth will still be fulfilled. In the beginning it was God’s purpose for obedient humans to live forever in an earthly Paradise. And God never fails to accomplish what he purposes! His Word plainly promises: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Psalm 37:29.

But we do have the very real hope of the resurrection and the opportunity to live forever in paradise right here on the earth. The Bible tells how Jehovah will bring this about.

The reason it doesn't make sense is because we will not be going to heaven.
Revelation 14:1 says: And I saw, and, look! the Lamb standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.
So there are only 144,000 who will be going to heaven to rule as joint heirs with jesus christ. The rest of us who are faithful will live on a paradise earth. We can see this at Psalms 37:10,11
It says:
For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.1And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Jesus will return and reign on earth Himself for 1000 years; during that time there will be no pain, suffering, sadness, disease or death and His gospel will be preached to the whole world. At the end of that time, there will be the Great White Throne Judgment.

There will be a new heavens and a new earth. Where sin will no longer be an issue. I'm so looking forward to not having to worry about sin any more, and spending an eternity with the Lord Jesus.

HEAVEN is a Planet, EARTH is a Spin-Off of Planet Heaven. Heaven is where GOD keep's HIS Children, cause Man's Day's on the EARTH were Limited to 120 year's (+,-). Because of what Adam and the Devil did.
When you get Born-Again, you (a Spirit) are Translated into the Kingdom of GOD while you are on the EARTH, your just not on Planet HEAVEN yet. Hope this helps. "JLU"

Isn't that great - even at the end of the days there will be heaven, for all - christians, sinners, undecided, whoever found Christ and declared that he/she was saved through his son Jesus who died for us on the Cross.

God's kingdom on earth will come in the future, and it will be wonderful. But for all of us who found Christ and will die before then, Heaven is waiting.

Great news, that means it actually can get better after death ...
God Bless you

Firstly 'God's Kingdom on earth' is taken from the Lord's prayer. This is a good question. Jesus prayed that because he wanted this earth to be God centred. Remember that Jesus said 'Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' In other words he wants us to live a holy life on this planet and treat the planet as if it is heaven.
The bad do not go to hell and the good to heaven. The unrighteous go to hell. They are the ones that refuse to accept God's goodness, his love and forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ.
This includes even people that live fairly good liefs too.
The righteous are taken to heaven, because they have accepted Jesus into their hearts and taken his forgiveness and receive God's goodness.
Which one are you?
