Wow - read a little history, would ya? The exchange of presents was part of a pagan ritual that centered around the winter soltice. Christiany hijacked it for their own purposes. Does anybody not know that?

And Easter - a pagan fertility ritual centered on the spring equinox. Guess what? It usually involved orgies and ritual sacrafice, but the main symbol used for that fertility ritual was the egg and rabbit (can you think of any better symbols for fertility than that!) What could eggs and rabbits possibly have to do with Jesus? Once again, the christains hijacked the pagan rituals.

The real question is, why do all you christains participate in pagan rituals?

If in fact this is a serious question, you probably realize that in this day and age, Christmas is a secular holiday celebrated by a majority of people in the US with Santa, Rudolph, Frosty, etc. I even have Jewish friends with children who celebrate Christmas and Hannukah due to the peer pressure.

So being an athiest is no bar to getting presents at Christmas. However, I wouldn't ask one to attend services with you!

LOL!
Atheists may not believe in Jesus, but they sure don't mind ca$hing in on His day!
These days, the day Christians have chosen to celebrate the birth of our King has become a "secular holiday". Too funny!!

The Channukah Fairy, lol! Your question is irrelevant...Christmas is around to SELL you stuff it isn't even really Christ's birthday...He was born in August and that's been proven. So enjoy your commercial holiday based upon a falsehood...in fact enjoy your false Messiah...Only God (if there is one) is God, and that's who should be celebrated. PEACE!
