He has been head banging sence he was 2 or 3 and still does it when hes going to bed or gets nervus or scared about something. He also has a lot of little things that are strange that he does like he has never used a blanket or a towl when getting out of the shower he hates all condaments such as ketchup musterd mayo. And he pinches himself alot, he use to pinch me, when he would get nervus. and im not sure if this is a facute or not but he also had Pavor Nocturnus as a child but grew out of it. Im just wondering if all these things put together there is a underline problem or not?

sounds as if he has autism and torrets syndrome and other mental problems he should really be under medical supervision,before he hurts himself or someone else

This sounds like Autism, or Aspergers Syndrome, but not a ""problem,"" just an issue or thing to deal with in life. *smiles*

There is probably an underlying symptom, or group of behaviors that lead to a correct diagnosis. Seek a psychologist, even a school psych or speech pathologist should be able to help you, or see what his primary care doc (pediatrician) says.

If he is 9 and he's been doing these things since he was a toddler I think he may need to be evaluated. He very well may have underlying problem that needs to be addressed before he gets any older. I think I would discuss this with is doctor.

He could have a from of autism. Talk with his doctor about having him tested.
