Im about to turn 25 and I m going to college to major in Psychology. The problem is that I dont think I want to do that anymore. I have 1 year to graduate, and the worse part is that I dont know what I want to do. I just know that I want to live happy.

Well, if you are thinking about another liberal arts major, just stick with Psychology. Many different jobs will hire anyone with a basic liberal arts degree. It doesn't really matter what the exact major is. Since you are already 25, you probably don't want to be stuck in school for another 2-3 years it will take to switch majors.

Try talking to a career guidance counselor. Most universities will have one. They can sit down and talk with you to help determine your interests. They can also put you in contact with several people in fields that you might have an interest in to let you experience what it would be like.

I think it's great that you only have a year of college left. I would ride it out and graduate if I were you. That college degree is going to look great on your resume. You will be able to find a good paying job and it doesn't have to be a psychologist. Talk to a counselor if you have to, but I think you are going the right way.
Every state is different, there are some places where it's hard to find a job, sure. Sometimes you have to work at a temporary job until the right one opens up. Remember that having an impressive interview is key also.

You are young. Just 25. I started collge at 25.

Psychology. What the h*ll is that. I have friends graduated as bachelor, one at master and even one at PhD. They could not find job. Psychology is generally useless. I found out that lot of people find the easy major to go, not the major the like.

Change your major, Engineering is the safe way to go. Engineering majors are very challenging.

I feel the same way it's like as soon as you are getting close to the end, you decide to change your mind. I think it's because as long as we are in school we are secure we can not fail at our career. But, once we graduate we may fail or be disappointed. Good Luck just know some one else is struggling in the same thought process as you. And of all things to go from Physical Therapist to an elementary school teacher! Talk about pay cuts!! I will be taking my boards in December and don't know if I want to be a PT.
