You should loose 10lbs in 5-8 weeks. It all depends on your metabolisim. My Nutritionist advise me to drink a Red Bull at breakfast. It helps the metabolisim burn calories.

Instead of turkey sandwiches for dinner you should try chicken baked or boiled with a salad and brown rice. It is really good and more filling. If you exercise try to do it 3 times a week and mix it up with yoga, pilates, tae bo, and other cardio such as riding a bike taking a walk and treadmill. Also drink a lot of water, if you can squeeze in an apple, a orange and some grapes or somthing a day would really help. An apple has very low calories PLUS it will burn calories in the process!

Be sure that you are eating food that who will stick with as a healthy change, otherwise you will go back to the weight you were once. Also reward yourself (I usually do on a weekend) with a meal ANY meal (still somewhat healthy but you may cheat a lil) so you do satisfy your cravings and they will NOT be as strong through out the week.

Good Luck and take care!!

Rule #1 Eat only the foods that help you lose weight by eating some complex carbs & lean proteins at each meal and completely AVOID all foods that make you gain weight and... Rule #2 DO NOT worry about counting calories (go here to see why) and... Rule #3 Eat 3-to-5 smaller meals a day by eating every 3-to-5 hours and... Rule #4 Before each meal - Eat at least 1 whole raw fruit or vegetable with 8 ounces of water (this will almost guarantee you'll never overeat and gain weight because this will make you feel full & satisfied quicker) and... Rule #5 Stop eating at each meal when you feel 100% satisfied and... Rule #6 If you do get hungry in between meals (which you probably won't) - Just snack lightly on weight loss foods like raw fruits or vegetables or nuts and go here before you think about cheating on your diet and... Rule #7 Only drink water, raw vegetable juice like V8, or fat burning Green tea but it's okay to cheat sometimes and... warning............................ You can eat as many fruits and vegetables as you want; just don't eat the other things. This diet may be too low-calorie to sustain long term. You should only do it for the suggested 10 days. The weight that you lose is likely to be only water weight. You will probably gain the weight back when you return to your normal eating habits.

it's good what you're eating but make sure you get your fair share of veggies and fruit. keep your intake at 1500 not 1000. do some exercise too and the weight will come off really quickly. i'm not sure how much you can lose exactly but you will see results in about 3 weeks to 2 months.

To reduce your calories safely, I suggest starting to track what you eat and how much you expend in your daily activities.

Your caloric needs are based upon how active you are and your current weight. So cutting it that low might stunt your metabolism and cause fat storage.

I suggest using the website http://www.fitday.com to monitor your intake / expenditures. It's free and easy to use. Shoot to consume about 500 calories less per day than you burn for effective weightloss.

It'll take a while, but you'll be more likely to stick with it seeing the daily progress. You may also find that you are able to eat a bit more each day.

Failure to keep track of your calories means you are largely operating by guesswork, so your efforts could be half-baked.

Good luck.

I've enclosed a site for you. It's a great calculator. you put in your height, weight, and age and it tells you how many calories you need to eat a day to MAINTAIN your current weight. Once you have this number, subtract 500 calories from it. To lose one pound a week you should lose 3500 calories a week. 3500= one pound.
With diet and exercise you can do it. Just keep variety in your eating. Remember, you are changing habits for life, not for a temporary time. If you go back to how you ate before, the weight will follow.
Best of luck!

This is good, just make sure you are still getting all of your vitamins. 1 pound of fat is roughly 3500 calories. You need to calculate how many calories your body uses to maintain your current weight, then look at how much you have reduced that.
That will tell you how many calories you are in the negative each day that will take away from fat. freecaloriecounter.com has a way to calculate this. Good luck

It is only safe for your body to loose 1-2 lbs per week. So you can do the math and figure out how much you should loose. If you are loosing more than that, you could damage your metabolism and also start to lack nutrients, so adjust your caloie intake accourdingly.

That sounds like a pretty low intake. Add some exercise and you will really see that weight come off.

If you feel any ill effects, though, like dizziness or anything, you may want to increase your intake a little bit. That sounds very low...
