I am not only in a country at war I am serving in the military of that country. It is always good to try and figure out the motives or to try and understand what or why a country does what it does. I may not always agree with the powers that be, but neither can i fault most of their actions (even if it means being deployed to a combat zone) If I can understand what the other country is thinking I might possibly make a difference to my country or to the country I'm deployed in... I might even get home alive... Very good question, thanks...

My country is at war. I don't agree with either side of it (although I do understand it) because I'm anti-war by nature. I sympathise with the other side, because the premise of the war put forward by my government was false.

One has to be objective in things like this. Blind support for your own country's military would simply be a green light for the government to do whatever they wanted.

People should always question what they are told. I'm not saying everyone should just dis-believe everything, but they should find out about the situation themselves, and look at information from sources they wouldn't normally view.
