I heard that the goverment state and federal were thinking about letting illegal immigrant collect social security and I want to know if it is true and what if anything I can do to help to stop this from happening.

It is true that the Senate Bill would let that happen even though they were using someone else's stolen number to put in funds to begin with, and even though the cost of services they illegally collected such as education and health care where much greater than amounts paid in to Social Security.
You need to write to your Senators and Congressmen and tell them that under no circumstances should that happen. Some people use Congress.org to do it, but if you know your Senator etc and go through their web page that might be more effective.

YES, ITS TRUE. They are giving back their money which the government takes everytime they get paid for social security. The Gov is returning the money that illegals pay for social security, but since they are not citizens, they currently cannot collect those benefits they pay for.

What's being contemplated is that if the illegals paid into Social Security, then they can collect benefits. Why would you want to stop them from collecting something that they've rightly earned?

you realize that this means we will be supporting the world pretty soon..???? this is an american program and should be for americans only...if an illegal paid into it..too freeking bad....
does that mean that while i am on ther run from the law, i can collect welfare..??? because i dont have a place to live and all my income is derived from illegal means...with illegal documents and identification..???

I don't understand why our elected politicians are going to give Social Security to illegals. They've already said we're running out of money to give to Americans who've been working 30 to 40 years.
I don't understand any of this love affair with the illegal invasion. It's frustrating and perverted.
