I have tried 5-6 different prescriptions but nothing works any better than 3 Advil and some caffeine to make it kick in fast. Then I lie down until I can sleep for an hour or two, if I can.

Prescription meds specifically designed to treat the vascular conditions that cause them.
Over the counter migraine meds may help with the pain, as will Rx pain meds, but Rx migraine meds will treat the cause.
Almost any doc can help you find the one that works best for you.

Take Excedrin Migraine and drink a coke with them. The extra caffeine and fizz help the Excedrin to kick in quickly!
