No most teacher have there nose stuck so far up there azz that they don't even see Janitors or cafeteria workers. If you are in a school doing a job and you ain't a teacher. The teachers think that you ain't much to start Whit because you are not smart enough to be a teacher and they turn there nose up at you. But they also turn there nose up to the kid's to so i guess it don't matter....

Why wouldn't teachers be friends with cafeteria workers and janitors? Our school is like one big family. It seems that the teachers and other workers get along best, since the teachers never see each other working all day in their own classrooms.

Sure why not? As a teacher, I really try to make a point of getting along with everyone. It sets a good example and you never know when you might need their help (vice versa). A little kindness goes a long way. Futhermore, we are all at the school for the same reason...the kids and it's a job.

My mom works for a school as a Before and After School Director - the teachers are really snotty and act like they are more important because they are a teacher - so I would say no.
