ok need a girls help with this... ok i am thinking about getting my hair cut... but a boy that likes me is disagreeing on my descion... he thinks that getting my hair cut will look wrong and he said he likes it the way it is... i really like him and dont want to do anything to give him a turn off.. what should i do???

It's your hair. If you want to cut it, cut it. You probably won't like him next week anyway.

I'm sorry...have to put in my 2 cents here. Girls, yes, it is your hair and you can do whatever the flip you want with it... but if a guy really likes your hair longer and actually tells you as much, it obviously means something to him.

The final call is yours though. Talk to him about it. He'll probably still like you anyway, after the initial shock wears off and he says something "stupid" about how he can't believe you cut it off (don't get mad and give him a hard time about it, just take it worth a grain of salt because us guys say things like that and they don't mean anything personal by it).
Your hair will grow back...

You should do whatever you want to do. If you want short hair, get short hair. The important thing here is that you not let the boy dictate how you decide to wear your hair. It's your head, your hair, your face. It's really not his decision. If he doesn't like you because you cut your hair, you might want to reconsider this guy.

I know you want to attract him, but don't let him manipulate you in any way. He might be a sweet guy--let him stay a sweet guy by being a strong woman yourself that makes decisions about yourself, including your appearence, on your own.

No need to be bitchy about it, just tell him that you've always wanted to try the style. He might like it. He might just love your hair any way you do it.

I say go for it. If you really want to change your hair then a boy shouldn't be a factor in deciding whether or not to do it. I'm sure he'll like you just as much with short hair. And if he doesn't, then someone else will. Young girls need to learn to be who they want to be without worrying if a boy will still like you.

If he likes you he will let you do what you want. i think it is up to you. if you cut your hair great. And if your bf isn't happy he isn't a real boyfriend that would like what you do. I think that you should just cut your hair and I don't know but maybe he might like it.

It is your hair, you have to live with it and take care of it. Do what's right for YOU. If he quits liking you over a hair cut, he never really liked you any how.

ok if the guy really likes u he won't care what ur hair looks like. except mabey if its like a grese-bomb or something gross like that, but anyway. and if u want to cut your hair go ahead. but im warning u, mite regreat it l8er. i had really long hair like parts my hips almost and i cut 10 inches off and just under a yr l8er i HATED it. its strting 2 grow back 2 yrs l8er know but still it'll take awhile 2 be anywhere the way it used 2 be.

Go for the length that makes you happy. Just be aware that shorter cut could be a pain in fixing. You will no longer have the privilege of pony tail.

Well, first of all, if he likes you, he'll like your decision. And he'll respect it. Also, when you get your hair cut, get it only cut half as much as you think you do...If you want 6 inches off, get three inches off. You might like it, he won't be as completley freaked out, and if you want it shorter, you can always get the other three inches cut off.

if you cut it a way dat looks better on you then he will like it more so i would cut my hair but make it a really neat looking hair cut !! one u like if he dont like it then he can just get over it!!
