...go along with it just to avoid embarassment or would you run away?
(I've tried this out before, and sometimes people would actually play along, but only if they were walking with a group of friends or such...hilarious! Have we met?)

I don't get embarassed easily...I have been in many situations in which I should have, but nope. :)

I'd say hello like he is a long lost best friend and them remind him that he owes me a hundred bucks. If he denies it I would act pissed and make like I am going to my car to get a shotgun. Wah, Wah, Wah. Jokes on you.

This has happened to me so many times! I must look like a lot of people out there. I just say "I'm sorry. I'm having a hard time remembering you. Where have we met?" Usually, they are embarrased when they realize I'm not who that thought I was.

thats seems like fun to do, it would be so funny to do with a group of guys cause I know they would play along..well most would.
I would prob tell them I dont remember them or something but if I was in a group of friends I might just play along

Actually I make it a practice to say right up front "I'm sorry, you look so familiar but I'm at a loss at the moment....Where do I know you from?"...
So hopefully you and I will never meet...cuz you'll be the one who's embarassed!

If I ever met you it would be so hilarious... for you!!

I like the idea of telling them that they owe you money........that would be hilarious.........but I would probably just tell them that they must have the wrong person.

I would wrap my arms around him and say "This is what Johnny wanted for his 12th birthday, to finally meet his daddy!!!"
