I like to answer both, but for the most part, I don't take anything on Y!A too seriously. You are not going to find the answers to life's questions here. Most of the "serious criticisms" that I think you are referring to are just anti-God and pro-God going at each other like rabid dogs, yet no one will stop and really listen to each other. I see it all the time where people will give very informative and fact based arguments to questions, but they will never be picked for best answer. People are just looking for someone to agree with them instead of actually learning something from an opposed point of view. Truly, it's all pretty pointless. The way I see it: you're all just here for my entertainment.

whats up been there executed that. I requested a serious question and in common words were given like 7 solutions! in common words one answer replaced into genuinely effective. the different solutions looked like people had copied any people. *Sigh* i have considered stupid questions or statements that were not even a query get some 50 some amazing responses, yet serious inquiries in common words get like a max 7-10 replies. i imagine that's because distinct the folk on the following have a small mind means and heavily questioning and coming up with an wise reaction is out of their league. thanks for letting me voice my opinion! :)

Because some people are very insecure when trying to answer questions of a serious nature because it takes a lot of thought and,careful consideration of your choice of words and the arrangement of such thought provoking situations. Silly questions take no long thought processing.

Perhaps the age of those giving the answers. This is summer time, kids are out of school and on the net all day long. You are bound to get a high level of low quality answers and questions during this time.

yes, we are here for fun mostly, and you only get so many answers a day so we have to be picky. And alot of the serious questions have already been answered many times over.

Serious answers are more work. Its easier being silly.
Also, more people are able to be silly, than can give a serious answer.
