1) Lee Trevino: "I like teaching women how to golf. I start them out on the irons and work them into the woods..."

2) Yogi Berra: "90% of it is half mental."

3) Favorite punchlines (you've probably heard the joke - you only need to say the punchline again):
... the rest of the day was horrible, hit the ball and drag Bob, hit the ball and drag Bob.
... I said "intercourse or golf course" - so she got up and put my clubs in the car for me!

4) Scientists have proved 95% of putts that are short, don't go in.

Most annoying: "You're probably in good shape. I think it opens up over there..." (Yeah right).

The most annoying saying in golf has to be "never up, never in"
Said by your playing partner when you leave a putt short. It makes want to walk over and ram the putter down his (usually) throat.

Sacrificed to the wood/water gods (ball out of bounds)

Rak-a-Tak (ball in the woods hits many branches)

you better get a chainsaw if you're gunna find that ball!

You want a little suntan lotion, you aint getting off that beach for a while?

How many Mulligans do we get? (when someone else misses a shot)

Who ever doesnt get it passed the women's tee buys the beer.

I cant reall think of too many more, I hope those lighten up your Game! good question!

Favorite: "Tracking Fiber"

When a shot is headed directly at the pin, we refer to the the ball as "tracking fiber", as in the fiberglas of the pin.

Most Annoying: "That'll Play'

Usually said to a player by thier opponent after a terrible shot. I would prefer that they they just keep thier mouth shut.

When you hit a fast but very low shot and it hits the fairway early but rolls for ages

Me and my golfing buddies refer to it as a 'Sally Gunnell' - Not much to look at but it's a good runner!

The number of shots taken by a player out of sight is equal to the square route of number of swishs plus the number of curses heard.

I hate the rantings of that Montgomery Fortesque or whatever his name is in Tiger Woods 2006 and his cut scene amature dramatics seem to take ages.
