This happened to my best friend, she owed him a $30. balance on her account as he wouldn't give her the refill Rx. It was for her mood stabilizer for her bipolar issue. She now suicidal because of it and I was curious if legally the Dr could do that.

wow that doctor is a brave soul if he was to withhold medication you would think he would pick someone that aint on anit-depresants... lol Seriously... look in your area for a free clinic or one that you pay for by what you can afford... some areas have them unfortunatley other areas dont. Its usually a local Government run thing.... we have one in our area and its really nice... they dont even make you pay right away if you are short on cash... GOOD LUCK

Another thing you might try is going to your state building and try to get assistance with your medical and prescriptions... ya never know you may fall into a category that qualifies for your state.

You mean the Doctor that prescribed the medication? Oh HECK no! He must have another reason for not giving you your meds.

HELLO, you need to pay for services rendered. How would you like to go to work and not receive a pay check. Think about it.
