For lifestyle? I've only been in one but I'd say the Air Force. The army people ridicule the Air Force because they get better treatment. They sleep in tents when the AF sleeps in hotels. That kind of thing.
Army people get promoted faster and then get paid more. That can only be because there is higher turnover. Either that or they are more top heavy. Too many chiefs not enough Indians.
The marines are like an extreme version of the army.
The navy is more like the AF with it's high tech jobs but they are gone 6 month a year on some ship.

They ALL are. Just because each wears a different colored uniform doesn't mean a damn thing. Oh, you'll hear us brag about our own branch of course which is only natural, it's competion in a different meaning. We joke about one another, but when it comes to doing our job, we're hand in hand on that battle field helping one another doing what we were trained to do in the first place.
Now if your question refers to which one should you choose.... all I can say is check them each out and find out which has a job you would like to do and they will train you the right way to do it too. Whether Air Force, Army, Navy or Marines, together we are a team and we are known as the fighting force of the United States of America. Oh my gosh.... too much typing to correct my error and I apologize to one not to be forgotten either. The US Coast Guard. I'm sorry for the mistake as you are a GREAT fighting part of our team too.

My husband is retired after 23 yrs. in AF. My son is in the Army. My father was in the Navy. My neice's husband is in the Marines. I wanted to go into the AF, but they would not take me because I was a single mother. But I would say the AF is the best.

my dad was army regular, my sister was army reserve, my best friend is army regular... three of my current friends were navy, two of my cousins are navy

Well I dont know. My dad's in the army, so I would say that, but he always says navy or the airforce is better.
