Someone told me to be an artist you must be 20 more than that you would t have a big chance to succeed specially in art. Is that is true?

No. Not true. There are examples everywhere that disprove that theory.

look at grandma moses. she was in her seventies. it would be wonderful if we could all do the things we want to do in life right when we want to do them, but that's not realistic. some of us don't know what we want until we have other responsibilities, such as raising children, or caring for ailing parents. we put our desires on hold, because we love, and are responsible for the people we love. when those responsibilities are taken care of we can again see if what we love to do is still possible for us. you are never too old to do that which you love.

You listen to the wrong people.

Take, for an example, Gauguin. He was a stock broker who didn't seriously start painting until he was in his 30s.

first off you don't have to be 20 you can be any age but it depends when people finally hear about you and you get some good things. im only a teenager and im an artest and tons of people kno me.

You can be an artists at any age.
