PROTEIN not a carb which will give you short lived energy and than you will come down and feel so sleepy and keep craving them or sweets/sugar all day. EGGS are good for you and 2 in the am with a small glass of milk and than your ready for the day. take a vitamin too every am. eating speeds up metabolisim period and small snack meals throughout the day may seem like your eating alot but you wont be eating more than you would eating three good size meals and you will be keeping your metabolisim up ALL day. than anything else you do from just daily normal stuff too especially excercising or activities that your bodys not use to doing regularly will burn cals/ and fat and will do it faster!!

Eating healthy is hard these days, but I try often to eat a good breakfast. Carbohydrates are not all bad for you, I would recommend eating some fruit and whole wheat bagels with cream cheese. Another good carbohydrate is oatmeal, put a little splenda in for sweetner instead of regular sugar. Eat your oatmeal with a piece of toasted wheat bread with some butter and fruit spread. Butter does not hurt anyone, you need some fat in your diet, fat is not bad for you , just don't eat a whole container of butter! I like to eat my breakfast with orange juice or apple juice.

Fruit, particularly blueberries, and fresh nuts (almonds in particular) are healthy and quick. If you have a little more time, you can whip up a piece of salmon cooked in olive oil with spinach and capers.

Avoid the usual breakfast fair; cereal, pancakes, etc - these are mostly empty calories.

Wheat toast with FF butter and SF Jelly, 3 egg whites with 1 piece of FF cheese, 1 piece of fruit. I usually choose from 2 of these. Turkey bacon is also good!
