What i don't get is that during a bachlor or bachlorette party, most fall into the sins of the flesh, strippers and lewd conduct, some end up in fornications. But why do people do it and then the next day stand in the house of god and promise god that they will love this one woman only. Isn't that just hypocracy, why is it so accepted then? These people claim to be one with god and very religious yet the day before they marry the let themselves fall to the sins of the flesh.

All religion is hypocrisy. Why narrow it down to pre-wedding party behaviors?

It's not right! I think it's disgusting, if my husband and I hadn't eloped to Vegas, the rule was no strippers! If my husband had done that, he would have been standing alone at the altar! But, I guess if both couples agree to it, then it's okay! I just don't understand what the deal is about it! If you feel you need to get in one last stripper, then you don't need to be getting married!

That is a good point. Many ppl don't even consider themself (insert religious title) yet insist on getting married in a church. I have a friend who had her son christened, yet she doesn't believe in it, or go to church. I think ppl just think its tradition, so they have to do it.

I do believe there is such a thing as an innocent bachelor(ette) party. I don't think they are all evil, and cause ppl to sin. If its just done as a party to celebrate you last days as a bachelor(ette), and you don't have strippers, or other "bad" things, its fine.

It is hypocrisy, people who truly follow God don't do such things as bachelor/ bachlorette parties. It seems like a lot of people do it but that doesn't make it right.

Not everyone does that for their bachelor/bachelorette party. My fiance went on a 4 day camping/canoing trip with his groomsment and I had a huge sleepover party with my bridesmaids after a fun night out dancing.

Not everyone claims to be one with God.

It's tradition....and any good man will have a clean bachelor party. Even if there's a stripper or dancer doesnt mean they have to touch them.

i don't know anyone who has done what you have described. most people i know may go out and have a good time, but they never fall into sins of the flesh.

Blahblahblah...sins sins sins....get over it, YOU SIN every single day, and you think that's okay by going to a church somewhere and confessing your sins and asking forgiveness, that mean's you just got away with sinning free and clear if your "supposedly" sorry...-rolls eyes- blah blah blah...nothing but hypocrites...

Its traditional.
That doesnt make it acceptable.

One couple, I know, the wife-to-be was the husbands entertainment that evening. Everyone was naughty - together.
Much happier.
