No. We have laws that allow people to enter the USA legally. Illegal immigration into the USA is stimulated by businesses that are breaking the law by hiring these illegals in an effort to pay lower wages in effect breaking a series of laws designed to protect American citizens against such acts. It is the job of the President of the USA to enforce these laws. Since President George W. Bush has done little to enforce the laws he swore to protect, he has lied under oath...

By definition, illegal immigration is wrong, and not something that can be supported. The problem is that America depends on the cheap labor force of illegal immigrants - in jobs that citizens rarely take, like farmwork. This is the issue of debate - the country needs to keep the immigrants for the workforce, but obviously cannot just allow anyone to come into the country.
So, no, i do not support making anyone, no matter if they came in to the US illegally, legal - that's impossible. But, i believe a solution should be worked out, which allows people who want to work honestly to be able to live and work here easily and securely.

I don't support illegal immigration at all. If people want to move here; I am fine with that. Just do it the legal way and go through the system. I have respect for people who make a serious effort to come into the country legally because it does take alot of patience and work. I understand that people want to come here and hopefully improve their lot in life, but, doing it illegally shows that they have a complete lack of regard for the laws of the country that they are wanting to become a part of. While it is true that some may say that they are desperate individuals that don't feel they have time nor the funds to do it legally; it makes me wonder if they are willing to flaunt the law in that instance, what other laws are they going to be willing to break while they are here just to make their life easier.

I dont support illegal immigration but i think we need a more loose system of immigration so its easier for people to get in legally. The national defence are using the policy of immigration as an excuse not to step thier work up a notch for counter terrorism. What does it say on the statue of liberty?
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!
We are forgetting an important part of America. This is the other side, where the grass is greener. Liberty should be a destination that all can reach. How can the tired, the poor, get here when we are barring thier way?

I support it for those that have a logical and intelligent reason with a goal and a plan yes in general I say I support illegal immigration because I've worked with children coming here for amnesty to escape the horrors of their country,I've known adults who are productive intelligent people who are here illegally. Everyone keeps saying that they need to do it legally Even when they pay the enormous amount of money in order to do it legally they are not guaranteed the legal right to come to America.

I would prefer that we use our wits towards immigration reform that doesn't applaud hypocrisy.
It's bad enough that we, the people of the USA, look hypocritical enough by taking advantage of the lower prices -- groceries, clothes, construction, etc -- that come due to the inexpensive illegal workers. Then, so many want to round em all up and ship em back home. Is this the best we can do?
When Katrina hit America, many individuals lost EVERYTHING, and had to resort to some type of looting -- yes LOOTING in order to have a piece of bread to put in their own mouths. Yes, we would call that stealing, which is ILLEGAL. But, we're compassionate enough to direct some humane understanding to the situation before arresting people for stealing food.
"Illegal workers" -- WORKERS -- WORKERS -- are WORKING to survive and support good things.
Surely, we can put our heads together and work out a humane way for such workers to WORK. Surely, we can work out win-win ways that will enable everyone to benefit.
Simply rounding em up and sendin em back home is naive, at best.
Personally, I do not support anything "illegal," but, for the sake of integrity, I believe reform is needed and worth our while to achieve.

I don't support illegal immigration anywhere.
Aside from being at the will of a person who does not have your interests at heart at all, what is wrong about going through legal channels? What are you trying to hide?

i don't support illegal immigration in any country.
I'm not saying that all of them are, but most of the ppl who emigrate is because they don't like to work on their own country. They go to another country to look 4 an easiest way to survive, and sometimes they are criminals.
I say that cause I'm living the same situation in my country. I live in Costa Rica, and a lot of ppl from Nicaragua, and another countries from Central or South America, come illegally to my country to abuse of costarican services.
If ppl want to emigrate to another country ppl should do it legally.

No. The US offers a path to be able to live here. Follow the path, jump thru our hoops or get out. The path I speak of is not thru the desert and across the Rio Grande. It is the immigration system. Bureaucratic, complicated, fraught with useless paperwork. It is the American way. Prove that you want to be here!

Opinion polls show the majority of Americans are opposed to illegals. Its just the spineless politicians who won't stand up and enforce the laws.
