When your in public,,how do you know whether or not a girl or woman just caught a look at you or if she is actually checking you out?

some women are different; you have those you bat their eyes (so cartoonist), then those you give u a smile, those you check peek and look away then those who are so bold they just walk up and ask you out

Watch for some of these signs:
Making eye contact.
Striking a pose. posture is open ,Turn your body completely in the direction of your target.
Smoothing of the hair.
Toying with jewelry.
Smile! If the smile is returned, you're well on your way to romance.

Hold a mirror in front of you and see if she's looking at you that way but make sure she doesn't see it. That's what I would do.

if she keeps looking at you she is checking you out.. if she smiles she's checking you out too. you can tell if her smile is half-hearted though.
