is somethjing bad happening in your life, are you stressing, if so, your body is just rethinking all the thoughts of the day and things to come, and your stress level may increse bad dreams or even nightmares. Try rubbing your forehead to forget the dream when you wake up. Usually my dreams reflet back on details of the past day like, a cool mailbox or if i said something, your dreams could be small details of yesterday.

Now that you've been told that, you're probably making the association between food and nightmares. I was told that eating ice cream before bed would cause weird dreams. I don't think there's a correlation between food and dreams, personally.

It's different for everyone. For me it's dairy products. But I do hear other talking about certain things they won't eat before going to bed because they have nightmares.

what you eat has a big effect on what your dreams come out as. if you eat a bunch of greasy food before you go to bed then you will most defenatly have a horrible nightmare. im not sure what other foods trigger it

No, but sometimes I wake up with a stomach ache if I lay down right after eating - or even drinking cola.
